Once you ’ve selected the OWC device, y ou will notice the above change in the Disk Utility application. Click on the “Erase” tab in this picture. Y ou then need to name the volume that you wan t to format, and erase it. Name the volume as you wan t, choose the V olume F ormat pulldown (Mac OS Ex tended (Jour - naled) is default), and click t[...]

Click the erase button to conrm y ou wish to erase the disk. After a few moments , the erase command will complete and the OWC Mercury Elite - AL Pr o D ual mini volume will moun t on your desktop.
