8 4 Basic operation 4.1 Sw itching the camera on and off Switching the cam era on Press the On/Off button for 1-2 seconds to switch the came ra on. 30 Either of two driver modes can be selected for the camera . Web Cam mode u ses the v ideo components for th e PC (WebCam) . In DSC mode, the i nternal memory is used as mobile memory. 31 7 Transferring files to y our PC After y ou install the drivers, y ou can transfer y our photos, v ideos and sound recordings to the PC using the USB cable, and v iew, play and edi t them on y our PC.
