6 Setting up the TX240 T ransmitter NOTICE: THE RECHARGEABLE BA TTERIES ARE SHIPPED IN A DIS- CHARGED ST A TE. THE BA TTERIES MUST BE CHARGED OVERNIGHT BEFORE USING THE TV T ALKER INFRARED SYSTEM. The WIR TX240 T ransmitter may be placed on top of a TV or shelf. Place the TX240 T ransmitter where it is clearly visible fr om your listening position.[...]

7 Step 1: Connect the T ransmitter Power Supply Plug the Power Supply cord into the “DC 12V” jack on the back of the TX240. Then plug the Power Supply into an AC outlet.
