Using the TS - 990S and the KENWOO D NE TWORK COMMAND SY S TEM (hereinafter called "KNS") enables transcei ver ope rations by remot e c ontrol using a home LAN or t he internet. 11 4. Settings 4.1. Connecting a Comm unications Cable Connect the host stat ion PC and TS - 990S using a USB c able or RS - 232C cable. 21 4.7. Windows F i rewall Settings With the host station PC, recei vi ng c onnections f rom networks and the inter net using the ARHP - 990 and A RV P - 10 are blocked by the Wi ndows firewall.
