18 CHECK OPERA T OR PRESENCE SYSTEM The engine should not star t unless the PT O Switch is disengaged, and the Steering-Control Lev ers are in neutral loc k position. • When the engine is running any attempt by the operator to lea v e the seat without fi rst moving the Steering-Control Lev ers to neutral loc k position should shut off the engine[...]

19 4. Slide blade onto an unthreaded portion of the steel bolt or pin and hold the bolt or pin parallel with the ground. If blade is balanced, it should remain in a horizontal position. 25 BEL TS Clutch to Dec k Belt Replacement (48" Dec k) 1. Disconnect main idler spring from bolt under frame . 2. Remov e belt from electric clutch and drive pulle y . 3.
