Getting started Congratulat ions on your purchase of the system. Your system can guide you to the destination of your choice using signals from Global Positioning Satellites (GP S) or biti ng the earth. There are 24 GPS satellites orbiting the earth. Using an address as a destination When you use an ad dress for a destinatio n, you mu st know at least the nam e of the st reet and th e city. Adding detours and stopovers The detour featu re lets you tell the system ab out roads on a route that you do not want to use. Stopovers Once you have set a destination you can add a stopover. Adding a stopove r does not cancel your original destinat ion.
