Prepare a "DX " fi l m cartridge. Unloading the f i l m The camera automatically rewinds the film wh en yo u reach th e end of th e roll. You will hear the m otor operating and t h e exposure counter wi ll count down a s the film i s rewinding. T h e final reading on t h e exposure counter before rewinding may be mo re t h an t h e n um b er of exposures specified f o r t h e film.[...]

If yo u want to rewind th e f ilm before t he end o f a roll, press t he rewi nd but- to n wit h th e tip of a ballpoint pen. Do not use any device w ith a sharp tip and do no t p r e s s the rewind button t oo hard. Op en the back cover after the motor ha s stopped.
