10 CONNECTING AND CHARGING T HE BATTERY PACK The ET-925 com es with a recharge- able nickel-cadmiu m battery pack in the handset. Before using your phone, you mus t connect the battery pack and then charge it f or about 14 hours. 1. 12 SETTI NG THE R INGER On th e Handse t The ringe r on the ha ndset is turned on whenever the handset is off the base. You can select o ne o f four different ringer tone/volume s ettings on the handset while the phone is not in use. Pr ess VOLUME to hear t he c urrent ringer setting.
