3. APPLIANCE INSTALLATION 3.1 UNIT LOCATION The furnace must be installed where outsi de air supply is sufficient for prop er combustion. In airtig ht houses, it might be necessary to install an outside air inlet (see details in section 3.4). 3.3 PIPE CONNECTOR AND DAMPER Before proceeding to connection, remove all accessories such as scraper, shovel and poker from the evacuation pipe of the furnace. Please note t hat a draft higher than -0.06 in. w.c. could result in an uncontrolla ble fire.
