13 4. Removing the Packing Ma terials and Atta ching the Feed Roller Remove all of the p acking mate rials prot ecting the d evice, an d attach th e feed rolle r. 1. Prep aring the Dev ice When plac ing a docum ent in the de vice, pull ou t the docume nt feed tray so that it match es the size of the do cument, and then mo ve the feed selectio n lever to the approp riate position for the desi red feed me thod (page separation feeding o r bypass feeding) fo r t he docum ent. ❏ Preparing t he Document Fee[...]
