3 GETTING ST A RTED The high mag nification of your spot ting scope m akes it v ery di fficult to handho ld and, as a result, it must be at tached to a s table platfo rm. 5 Removing the Len s Cover To protec t your spotting scope, the o bjective len s, focus er, and acces sories are f itted wit h protectiv e covers. Al l are tensio n-fitte d and easily rem oved by pulling off. The cov ers should be remov ed as each piec e is installed.
