5 S ETTING U P TO C ONTROL THE S ATELLITE R ECEIVER The remote and the re ceiver must be set up on th e same address so that th e remote can control the receiver . When you ge t the remote, it's already set up to control the re ceiver on address 1. However, your receiver may be set to a dif feren t address or , in the case of the DISH 322, may[...]

8 S ETTING U P TO C ONTROL O THER D EVICE S T o use the remote to control othe r devices (such as a TV , VCR, DVD player , tuner , or amplifier), you must first program it to control these other devices.
