3 Setting Up the Monitor To set up the monitor, en sure that the power is turned off to the mon itor, computer system, and other attached devices, then foll ow the instructions below. Connecting the Cables 1. Place the monito r in a convenie nt, well-v entilated locatio n near the computer. 2. Connect a VGA sign al cable or DVI-D signal cab le.
