4 How low should you go? For most situations, you should in stall your Skimmer transducer so that its centerline is level with the bottom of the boat hull. 6 Insert and align ratchets. Add ratchets to bracket and transducer. 2. Aligning the transducer on the transom. To align the transducer to the transom, side the transducer between the ratchets.
