1 Section 1: Introduction Your radar consists of four componen ts: the radar scanner unit (antenna), your display unit (sold separately) ra dar processor and RIM 300 radar in t e rf a ce m od u le . 3 Basic Radar Display Components Your unit has three electronic bearing lines and three variable range markers. An enlarged example of EBLs and VRMs is on the next page. 5 Section 2: Radar Setup Before you begin radar setup, the radar scanning unit, RI M 300 mod- ule, radar processor and display unit all must be installed. WARNING: Do NOT attempt to execute Rada r Setup, while the ves- sel is moving. If you have a 4 kW radar, as the large ring decreases in size, the smaller rin g in the center of the screen will disap pear, leavin g only one ring . 13 Section 3: Basic Operation Pages The Radar Page has six displa y options: Radar Only, Digital Data, Ra- dar with Map, Rad ar with Sonar, Radar w ith Gauges and Radar, Map and Sonar. GPS only u nits do not support the Radar with Sonar page, so they have four display options: Rad ar Only, Digital Data, Radar with Map and Radar with Ga uges. Radar [...]

22 Radar Setup The Radar Setup menu allows you to set up and adjust basic radar set - tings, like H eading Line, Trigger Delay a nd Tune, all o f which are ad - dressed in the section on Radar Setup.
