11 SETTING THE CHANNEL SWITCH CHANNEL , l ocated o n the back of the VCP , determines on w hich chann el (3 or 4) a s tandard T V receives t he VCP ’s sig- na l. 13 Caution : T o avoid da mag ing the VCP mechani sm, do not try to load a tape while the DEW indicator is on. If DEW turns on, disconnect the VCP’s power for about 2 hours, then plug it back in. 14 OPE RA TION USING THE R EMOTE CONTROL The control bu ttons on the remote con- trol are identic al to those on t he front of the VCP. To use the remote control, be sure that the front end of it is pointing with a cl ear path toward the front of t he VCP, then press the desired button(s). PLA YING A VIDEO T APE 1.
