2 1. Requirements bef ore starting the i nstallation Before starting the in stallation, make sure that you ha ve everything you need at han d. Master remote control 22AV8573 or Guest remote control 22AV1104B And USB stick You will need the master remote c ontrol or the gu est remote contr ol to access th e menus. 3 2. Find out the state of the TV It is important to kn ow if a TV is in ‘virg in mode’ (out of the box) or ins talled before. If you can see this screen below, y ou know that the TV is in ‘virgin mode’ and you can install the se t. See chapter 4 of this manual. 4 3. Re -install TV If you want to start an in stallation from s cratch you can always re-install the TV. This can be d one by using the option: Re-install TV set. If PBS is active you can access the setup m enu press the ‘RC5 SETUP’ key, and then press the ‘Home/Menu ’ button (For the guest re mote control, press the following keys in sequ[...]

5 Navigate to “Rein stall TV” Press “OK” to r einstall TV set. If all is correct select “YES” and press “OK”. After this operation the TV will power off and on and display the installation wizard. 6 4. Installation wizard . When you turn on th e TV for the first ti me, or you hav e reinstalled the TV, you should see the following scre en. Here you will need to sel ect your preferred language . 7 The next step is to choose betwe en ‘Shop’ and Home’ use. If you select “ SHOP ” an ‘e - sticker’ ban ner will be displa yed on the TV. This is f or commercial purp ose only. 9 It is advisable to ch eck the settings befor e starting the search. The first option in th e setting s page is the “ Frequency scan ” . This has 2 options : - “ Quick ” : this i s a fast method t o search channels but it might skip s ome channels (dependin g on the network). - “ Full ” : the scan will search on all frequencies and wil[...]

10 The last option is “ R eset ” a nd this will reset the search settings to default. After y ou have checked or changed settings, you can s elect “ Done ” and sel ect “ Start ” t o start the channel s earch. 12 5. Channel options a. Reordering channel s Check if PBS Menu is active. Press “ Home ” button to se e the guest menu. If the menu is displa yed with “ Add new device ” and “ Help ” , the PBS Menu i s not active. 13 The PBS menu will appear like in pictur e. Using the arrow keys you can navigat e through this MEN U. To disable PBS mode use arrow keys to selec t the “ OFF ” option an d confirm with “ OK” . 14 When you press “OK” the next image will appear and you will ha ve to confirm. After the confirma tion the TV will r estart. After po wer on all PBS settings will be disabled. 15 Select “Reorder” and Press “OK” button on th e remote control to re order channels. N avigate to the channel that you wan t to move and Press “OK” on the remote con trol to select that channel .
