8 Wiring the Hydrotherapy Spa T his procedure must be performed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with the nation- al electric code, and with all local, state, and feder- al electric code. 19 DRAINING THE PUMPS A fter the hydrotherapy spa is drained, the jet pumps should also be drained if the spa will be stored for m ore than thirty days or if it may be exposed to freez- ing temperatures.
