T 99 Type 99 tone decode - On indicates Type 99 tone decoding is enabled on the se- lected channel. Flashing indicates a T99 selective call has been received and the radio must be reset to receive another T99 call. TX Transmitter enabled - On when the radio is transmitting. ALERT TONE S The M-P A uses aler t tones or "beeps" to indicate v ar ious operating conditions. Aler t tones ma y be ena bled or disabled via the menu m od e if th e "ALER T" f eature is progr ammed.
