8 Before using the Wi-Fi Remote application to remotely control the camcorder , you need to wirelessly connect t he camcorder (with the t ransmitter attached) to a Wi-Fi network via an access point (wireless router). 9 Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is the easiest way to set up the Wi-Fi network. However , it may not work correctly if there are several active access points in the area.
