Setting Up the S ca nner Follow t he steps below t o set up the scanner and connect it to the SCSI port on your Macintosh or t o another SCSI d evice. The SCS I cable included wit h the scanner has a 25-pin connector on one end and a dual 2 5-/50-pin connector on the other. 1.
