5 UNDERSTANDING THE LIGHTS Armed Light The armed light is “on” when the system is armed. The armed li ght is “off” when it is disarmed. 7 KEYPAD FUNCTIONS ARMING YOUR SYSTEM IN THE “AWAY” MODE AWAY is used when the user is away from the premi se and wants the interior protected. 12 OTHER KEYPAD FUNCTIONS SETTING THE KEYPAD TONE Step 1 Press [ r ]-[ 0 ]. Keypad is now in the “Adju st Tone” mode.
