6 Connection Guidelines General • The 140T is capable of autonegotiating port speed and can operate at 10Mbps or 100Mbps per port. The hub matches the highest possible speed of an attached device. • The ports on the 140T hub are half-duplex. The hub cannot connect to a device at full-duplex. • T o prevent a loop in the network, do not connect[...]

7 Daisy-chaining Hubs Normally , to make a hub-to-hub connection you need to use a crossover cable. The daisy-chain port on the 140T hub is wired MDI so you can use a straight-through cable to connect the 140T to an MDI-X port on a hub or switch.
