8 PREPARA TION SETTI NG T HE DAY AND TIME The TAD records the day and time of the call with each phone message. Follow these steps to set the current day and ti me. 9 RECORDING THE OUTGOING MESSAGES Before you can s et the T AD to answer calls and rec ord mess ages, you m ust record the outgoin g mes sage (OGM) t he caller hears when the TAD ans wers a call. 12 SCREENING CALLS To screen calls, let the TAD answ er them, then listen to the caller’s message through the TAD’s spea ker.
