7 CONNECTING POWER Usin g V ehicle Bat tery Pow er Follow these steps to power th e CB from your vehi cle’s battery. 1. Make sure the CB is turned off. 2. Disconnect the cabl e from your vehicle battery ’ s neg ative ( – ) ter- minal. 3. Connect t he black GRO UND wir e to a metal part of your vehicle’s frame. Note : Be sure the metal part [...]
