9 Basic and Common Operations Setting the Clock Before operating the unit any further , first set the unit’ s clock. When you plug in the power cord, “0:00” starts flashing on the display . 10 To turn off the unit automatically (Auto Standby) Using the Auto Standby function, the unit automatically turns itself of f if no sound comes in for more than 3 minutes when “CD” is selected as the source. If an operation is done within this 3-minute period, the Auto Standby function is canceled temporarily e ven though no sound comes in. ?[...]

11 Reinforcing the Bass Sound The richness and fullness of the bass sound is clearly maintained regardless of ho w low you set the v olume —Acti ve Hyper Bass Pro. •T his function also affects the sound fr om headphones.
