A good user manual
The rules should oblige the seller to give the purchaser an operating instrucion of Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class, along with an item. The lack of an instruction or false information given to customer shall constitute grounds to apply for a complaint because of nonconformity of goods with the contract. In accordance with the law, a customer can receive an instruction in non-paper form; lately graphic and electronic forms of the manuals, as well as instructional videos have been majorly used. A necessary precondition for this is the unmistakable, legible character of an instruction.
What is an instruction?
The term originates from the Latin word „instructio”, which means organizing. Therefore, in an instruction of Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class one could find a process description. An instruction's purpose is to teach, to ease the start-up and an item's use or performance of certain activities. An instruction is a compilation of information about an item/a service, it is a clue.
Unfortunately, only a few customers devote their time to read an instruction of Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class. A good user manual introduces us to a number of additional functionalities of the purchased item, and also helps us to avoid the formation of most of the defects.
What should a perfect user manual contain?
First and foremost, an user manual of Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class should contain:
- informations concerning technical data of Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class
- name of the manufacturer and a year of construction of the Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class item
- rules of operation, control and maintenance of the Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class item
- safety signs and mark certificates which confirm compatibility with appropriate standards
Why don't we read the manuals?
Usually it results from the lack of time and certainty about functionalities of purchased items. Unfortunately, networking and start-up of Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class alone are not enough. An instruction contains a number of clues concerning respective functionalities, safety rules, maintenance methods (what means should be used), eventual defects of Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class, and methods of problem resolution. Eventually, when one still can't find the answer to his problems, he will be directed to the Mercedes-Benz service. Lately animated manuals and instructional videos are quite popular among customers. These kinds of user manuals are effective; they assure that a customer will familiarize himself with the whole material, and won't skip complicated, technical information of Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class.
Why one should read the manuals?
It is mostly in the manuals where we will find the details concerning construction and possibility of the Mercedes-Benz 2000 C-Class item, and its use of respective accessory, as well as information concerning all the functions and facilities.
After a successful purchase of an item one should find a moment and get to know with every part of an instruction. Currently the manuals are carefully prearranged and translated, so they could be fully understood by its users. The manuals will serve as an informational aid.

Drive Sensibly - Save Fuel Fuel consumption, to a great extent, depends on drivi ng habi ts and operating conditions. To save fuel you sho uld: • keep tires at the recommended inflatio n pressures, • remove unnecessary loads, • remove roof rack when not in use, • allow engine to warm up under low loa d use, • avoid frequent acceleration and deceleration, • have all maintenance work performed at regula r intervals by an authorized M erced es-Benz dealer. Tires Tread we ar in dicators (TWI) are requi red by law. These indicators are locate d in six places on the tread circumference and b ecome visible at a depth of approximately1/16 in (1.5 mm), at which point the tire is considered worn and should be repl ace d. The tread wear indicator a ppears as a solid band across the tread. Warning ! Do not allow your tires to wear down too far. As tread depth approaches 1 /16 in (1.5 mm), the adhesion properties on a wet road are sharply reduced. Depending upon the weather and/or road surface (conditions), the tire traction v aries widely. Specified tire pressures must be maintained. This ap plies particul arly if the tires are subjected to high loads [...]

Emergency Tensioning Retractor (E TR) The seat belts for the front seats are eq uippe d with emergency tensioning ret ractors. These tensioning retractors are lo cate d in each belt's inertia reel and become operationally ready with the electronic key in steerin g lock p osition 1 or 2. The emergency tensioning retractors are designed to activate only when the seat belts are fastened during frontal imp acts exceeding the first threshold of the SRS and in rear impacts exceeding a pre set secu rity level. They remove slack from the belts in such a way that the seat belts fit more snugly against the body restri cting its forwa rd movement as much as possible. In case s of other frontal imp[...]

Airbags 1. Driver airbag 2. Front passenger airbag 3. Side impact airbag The most effective occupant restraint system yet developed fo r use in productio n vehicles is the seat belt. In some cases, however, the protective effect of a seat belt can be further e nhanced by an airbag. The driver airbag is located in the steering wheel hub. The pa ssenger airbag is located in the dashboard ah ead of the passenger. The side impact airbags are located in the front doo rs. In conjunction with wearing the seat belts with emergency tensioning retractors, the airbags can pro v ide increa sed protection for the driver and passeng er in certain major frontal (for front airbags) and side imp act s (for s[...]

Important ! The "SRS" airbags are designed to activ ate only in certain frontal (front airbags ) impacts, or side (side airbags) impacts. Only during these ty pes of impacts, if of sufficient severity to meet the deployment thresholds, will they provide their supplemental protection. T he driv er and passenger should al ways wear the seat belts, otherwise it is not possible for the airb ags to provide their intended supplemental pro te ction. In cases of other frontal impacts, angled impacts, roll-overs, other side impacts, rear collisions, or other accidents without suffici ent fo rces, the airbag will not be activated. The driv er and passengers will then be protected by the fast[...]
