7 P ow er requirement The LK1 0 runs on 2 4 V DC (@ 250mA max) supplied through the connecting cable fr om the KP1 0 k e ypad. As such there is no mains v oltage present in the KP1 0 and the unit is of ten saf e t o fit in areas where only e xtra lo w voltage (EL V) equipment is permitt ed.
