1. Basic Operation Main Switch The camera operates only after the < > switch is turned on. This main switch has three settings: <> : Lock position. The camera does not operate. Metering Modes The basic metering modes are evaluative, partial, spot, and centerweighted averaging. Spot metering can be at the center of the viewfinder or linked to the active focusing point.
