Automatically remove blank pages To set your scan preferences to automatically remove blank pag es from the automa tic document feeder (ADF) ou tput scan, follow th ese steps: 1. Double-click th e HP Scanning icon on the deskto p, select a docum ent scan shortcut , click Change Settings ... , select Document (Glass or Feeder) as the scan type under[...]

Scanner is sc anning items very slowly • If you ar e scanning to edit t ext, the optical chara cter recognition (OCR) software requires more processing t ime than for non-OCR scans, which is norm al.
