9 Using an Optional Adapter Y ou can power the r ecorder using an AC adapter or your vehicle’ s 12V cigarette- lighter socket using a DC adapter (neither included). 17 Restoring T ape T ension and Sound Quality After you play a cassette tape several times, the tape might become tightly wound on the reels causing sound quality to deteriorate.
