10 SECTION 4: OPERATING YOUR SNOW THROWER Before Starting WARNING: Read, understand, and follow all instructions and wa rnings on the machine and in this manual befor e operating. Keep a firm hold on the star ter handle and allow it to slowly recoil. • As the engine warms, slowly rotate the choke control to t he OFF posit ion.
