A good espresso with a thick, even fr oth depends not only on the quality , pressure and temperatur e of the water and the quality of the coffee beans, but also on the quantity of beans and how finely they are ground. Stainless steel coloured controls The controls may suf fer discolouration or damage if soiling is left on them for too long. W aste unit Clean the waste unit daily to prevent cof fee grounds from turning mouldy . There will pr obably also be water in the waste unit left over from the rinsing pr ocess. If the "Empty waste unit" message appears in the display window after you have just cleaned the unit out you will need to take it out of the machine and push it back into position again and then press the ENTER button.
