12 PREPARA TION CONNECTING AND CHARGING T HE BATTERY PACK The TAD-1015 comes with a recharg e- able nickel-cadmiu m battery pack in the handset. Before using your phone, you mus t connect the battery, then charge it for ab out 18 hours. 1. 20 SETTI NG TH E REMOTE OPERAT ION PIN The PIN (persona l identification num - ber) permits rem ote access to t he TAD. The PIN can be any number from 00 to 99. Note: The default setting is 00. 1.
