18 Channel Lockout Y ou can lock out a channel so it is not scanned. Channel Lockout does not erase the frequency from the channel. 27 LCD Backlight The LCD backlight comes on when the power is applied. In Scan mode, Manual mode, and Weather mode, the backlight stays on bright continuously .
