Using V -takes Each track 1 – 10 of the recorder contains ten virtual tracks, called "V -takes." F or each track, you can select one take, which will be used for recording and playback. For example, you can switch V -takes as you record multiple vocal or guitar solos on the same track, and later compare them and select the best V -take.[...]

In other words if you change the tempo in Rhythm Pattern mode, the tempo of the rhythm song will also change. If no tempo data has been input, the tempo specified in Rhythm Pattern mode will be used.
