W ater softener In order to achieve good cleaning r e - sults, the dishwasher needs to operate with soft water . Filling the salt reservoir If the water in your area is very soft and constantly lower than 0.7 mmol/l (4 °d) you do not need to add dishwasher salt. Detergent , Only use detergents formulated for domestic dishwashers. Do not use washing up liquid. ^ Y ou can use conventional powder de - tergent, tablets or liquid dishwasher detergent. Adding deter gent , Avoid inhalation of powder de - tergents and do not ingest dish - washer detergent! Dishwasher de - tergents contain irritant or corrosive ingredients.
