1 Intr oduction This guide shows ho w to install media dependent adapters (MD As) into su pported Nor tel Netw orks * p roducts. T able 1 lists the av ai lable MD A models. 39 The GBICs are a v ailable in dif fer ent case styles (Figure 12). One typ e has two spring ta bs at the fron t of the GBIC; the other type has an extractor handle on the front.
