Attaching Cover Stitch Plate: Remove the knife cover (overedge plate) by gently raising the lever as shown and pulling the cover towards you. Slip the Cover Stitch Plate onto the fron t cover by raising th e lever as shown and pushing the plate toward s the machine until it snaps into place.[...]

In order for the Cover Stitch Plate to si t properly, you must set the seam width finger to the “R” position. TIPS FOR TRIPLE COVER STITCH • Be sure to follow the thread ing sequence outl ined above. • Make sure needles are set- up in positions C, D, and E for the Triple Cover Stitch.
