2 1. Requirements bef ore starting the installation Before starting the in stallation, make sure that you ha ve everything you need at han d. Master remote control 22AV8573 or Guest remote control 22AV1108A And USB stick You will need the master remote c ontrol or the gu est remote contr ol to access th e menus. 3 2. Find out the state of the TV It is important t o know if a TV is in ‘ virgin mode’ (out of the box) or ins talled before. If you can see this screen below, y ou know that the TV is in ‘virgin mode’ and you can install the se t. See chapter 4 of this manual. 4 3. Re -install TV If you want to start an installation from scratch you can always re -install the TV. This can be done by using the option: Re-install TV set. If Professional mode is ac tive you can access the set up menu by pressing the ‘RC5 SETUP’ key, and then press the ‘Home/Menu’ button (For the guest remote contr ol, press the foll[...]

5 Pr ess “OK ” to access the sub -menu, na vigate to “Reins tall TV” . Press “OK” to r einstall TV set. If all is correct select “Start now” and press “OK ”. After this operation the TV will po wer off and on and d isplay the installati on wizard. Note: All settings are at default values and no channel plan is available.[...]

6 4. Installation wizard When you turn on th e TV for the first ti me, or you hav e reinstalled the TV, you should see the following scre en. Here you will need to select your preferred language . P lease select with Up and Down arrow keys and confirm with ‘OK’ or press the L eft arrow key. After this, you will need to select the country. Depen[...]

7 The next step is to choose betwe en ‘Shop’ and Home’ use. If you select “ SHOP ” an ‘e - sticker’ ban ner will be displa yed on the TV. This is f or commercial purp ose only. 8 For the channel installa tions, select ‘Ins tall TV channels’ and press ‘OK’ Then you can selec t ‘Continue’ and press ‘ OK’ again. Here you can sel ect the type of channels you would lik e to install and what pr eference you will use.[...]

9 It is advisable to ch eck the settings befor e starting the search. The “ Frequenc y scan ” contains tw o options: - “ Quick ” : this i s a fast method t o search channels but it might skip some c hannels (depending on the network). - “ Full ” : the scan will search on all frequencies and will store all channels av ailable. 10 The Symbol Rate options are: Aut omatic and Manual. I f you do not kno w the correct values for this option, please use the Automati c option. Analogue channel: If you don’t have or you don’t wan t to install analog ue channels, you can disable the sea rch for this type of channels. 11 If you would like to change the picture and sound settin gs, you can go to “ Optimize TV pic ture and sound ” an d press the “ OK ” button on remote control. 12 After pressing “ Don e ” you have c ompleted the install ation of the TV and you should see this screen. Press “OK” on the remote control to exit this wizard. Note: This wizard will not be available anymore when you start the TV the next time. The only way to re-use this wizard is to reinstall the TV set .[...]

13 5. Channel options a. Reordering channel s To reorder TV channels you need the channel plan from the Professional Settings menu. In the consumer m enu you cannot rearrange channels. The Professional Settin gs menu can be access ed by using the Yellow remote ( RC 22AV8573 Mas ter Remote contr ol) and pressing the MENU Button or with the TV remote[...]

Navigate to the channel that you wan t to move and press “OK” on the remote control t o select that chann el. The arrows around the channel indicate that the channel is s elected and can be moved. 27 8. Clone With cloning it is p ossible to copy to /from a USB devic e TV the configuration data and the channel list data. Place a USB Memory stic k in the USB side connec tor of the T V. *USB device should be formatted as FA T or FAT32.
